Conclusion: Endometrioid ovarian cancer exhibits an alteration in the expression of IL-1RA, a
key protector against tumorogenic effects of IL-1.....This suggests a possible link between the
endometrium, the tissue ectopic endometriosis and endometrioid ovarian cancer.
