Anticancer therapies in specialized palliative care—a multicenter survey (HOPE project)
In conclusion, this study shows that the use of ACT refers to a
distinguishable subgroup of palliative care patients in distinct
institutions and is therefore more than a mere expansion
of the therapeutic (pharmacologic) spectrum in palliative care. The
continuing debate about integrating ACT into palliative
care concepts and about early integration of palliative care into
oncology has now gained new arguments.
