Is There a Role for Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS) in EOC Prevention?
Anti-inflammatory Phytochemicals
In conclusion, results from many published studies described above
indicate a definitive involvement of inflammation pathway in the
progression and treatment of ovarian cancer. Some anti-inflammatory
phytochemicals exhibit the activities to intervene the dysregulated
inflammation pathway, and may play a beneficial role in the treatment of
advanced EOC. However, there are many questions remain to be answered.
Further research in this area is urgently needed.
