As Shakespeare wrote, "the play's the thing," and this one shines a light on quality improvement.

Rather than lecture physicians, nurses and other providers about their poor communication skills and procedures, Suzanne Gordon decided to co-write a play that showed them where their weaknesses can be found. In a video interview, Gordon describes the result of that decision, "Bedside Manners," a play that was recently performed at the 2013 NPSF Patient Safety Annual Congress.
