Ovarian yolk sac tumor (YST) is characterized by endodermal differentiation, and represents approximately 20% of malignant germ cell neoplasms. The age distribution of patients reported with YST ranges from 16 months to 46 years, but most patients are under 30 years of age (Talerman and Vang, 2011).
