In summary, when considering CAMs use in the treatment of CIPN, the
therapeutic potential of alternative therapies still needs to be
rigorously investigated with large scale randomized controlled trials.
Additionally, the interactions of CAMs with chemotherapy, potential
toxicities associated herb medicines, as well as molecular mechanisms
and bioactive compounds responsible for the neuroprotective effects
should also be further investigated.
