Discussion
This retrospective study was done with the aim of studying the
treatment pattern and survival of advanced EOC in Indian women. We found
that more patients were given NACT than primary surgery but primary
surgery was associated with better outcomes within a four year follow-up
period. The difference was statistically significant for Stage IIIC in
optimally as well as sub-optimally debulked patients.
