Blogger's Note: some years ago I had the very good fortune to hear Dr Folkman speak as well to ask him about ovarian cancer/antiogenesis, I came away with a profound sense of his research struggles and his humble persona. Afterwards, I left a message to see if he would call me as I had a further ovarian cancer question. He called back but unfortunately I missed his message and he died 2 days later. I left his message on my voice mail for a long time before finally deleting it. As a matter of interest he said that ovarian cancer was a good fit for antiogenesis. Certain things stay with you forever.
