The majority of genetic counselors in the US do not focus on patients with cancer.Editor's Note:

"There are good evidence-based guidelines for these five groups of individuals," said Dr Kauff. "This is the low-hanging fruit of the NCCN guidelines." The problem is that there are not enough genetic counselors to see these patients.
