Ontario won’t set up body to examine sex-abuse complaints against doctors
The Ontario government will
not set up an independent body to investigate sexual-abuse complaints
against doctors, rejecting one of the top recommendations from its own
task force on protecting patients from sexual violations.
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care finally released the recommendations of the panel, which began its work nearly two years ago, on Friday.....
