Gilles Frydman is the head of ACOR, the Association of Cancer Online Resources, founded in 1995 in New York, and the largest online cancer patient community with 65 000 patients and caregivers. ACOR’s 159 electronic lists deliver approximately 1.5 million email messages weekly. The ACOR community has demonstrated its ability to accelerate the distribution of quality information regarding trials, treatments, pharmacovigilance.

The Ovarian Problems Discussion List is a free e-mail discussion group that gives women with ovarian cancer and related problems a chance to exchange information and support daily. Supporters and family members are also encouraged to join this group, which is sponsored by the non-profit Association of Cancer Online Resources.
To SUBSCRIBE, go to www.acor.org, click on "mailing lists", and locate the Ovarian list - follow the instructions to join.

What is the deadline for nominations to be submitted?
The 2009-10 contest is open for nominations. Nominations must be received via the Web form by 6 p.m. Central European Time, June 1, 2010. We highly encourage participants to nominate their favorite lists as soon as possible so that the public will have ample time to vote for the lists.
  • Polls close July 1, 2010, at 6 p.m. Central European Time.
  • You may vote once every 24 hours.
  • After voting, you will be locked out from voting again (on the computer you voted from) for 24 hours.
  • The voting consists of separate monthly contests. Counters will be reset at the beginning of each month.
  • L-Soft reserves the right to close some or all polls earlier than the posted end date.
  • The top three finalists will be announced Spring 2010.
